Intervention at the European Parliament - Lebanon's Role in Regional Stability

As the world followed the Pope's visit to Lebanon, Ralph Baydoun addressed EU officials at the European Parliament's Delegation for Relations with the Mashreq Countries - making the case that there can be no sustainable peace in the Middle East without a peaceful Lebanon.

The intervention centred on three pillars that have defined Lebanon for more than a century: a functioning model of diversity and democratic power-sharing; freedoms of religion, thought, and press unmatched in the region; and a 200-year legacy of education and cultural production built through deep ties with Europe. The argument: these foundations - democracy, diversity, freedom, knowledge, and culture - are not abstract. They are the architecture of any serious strategy for regional stability, and the EU remains Lebanon's natural ally in preserving them.

Shield - Crisis Simulation Workshop ↗

An immersive, pressure-tested exercise placing civil society organisations inside a fast-moving fictional crisis ecosystem. Cyberattacks, disinformation campaigns, media pressure, reputational threats, and political escalation unfold in real time - forcing teams to monitor digital platforms, assign operational roles, manage stakeholder communications, and make high-stakes decisions under sustained pressure.

Built around realistic injects, live media simulation, and hybrid online-offline threat scenarios, Shield exposes operational vulnerabilities before they emerge in the real world and equips organisations with the coordination skills to respond when they do.

Lebanon Emergency Response - Community Perception Study

A large-scale mixed-methods perception study co-designed with Ground Truth Solutions and the Lebanon Humanitarian Data Forum to generate community-centred evidence for emergency programming and advocacy. Targeting displaced populations and host communities across Beirut, Bekaa, Mount Lebanon, North, South, and Akkar, the study captured community priorities, coping mechanisms, expectations of duty-bearers, information channels, and longer-term aspirations.

InflueAnswers led field operations end-to-end: survey design, enumerator recruitment and training, face-to-face data collection across all six governorates, quality assurance, and joint sense-making with the commissioning partners.
